"Rhonda" - Who's Afraid of the Working Class
Rhonda is a woman defined by contradictions: broken down by poverty but entirely unbroken in spirit; she is privately terrified for her children's safety but publicly hostile to anyone who questions her parenting. Weaponising a sharp tongue and a thick skin, Rhonda refuses to allow society or the system to pity her, but the final revelation of her children’s fate culminates in a moment of quiet devastation; an unspeakable tragedy and a desperate internal battle to suppress her grief.
